KINDY 3

This term we did things that grow and change. It was exciting to have a nature table in our class with worms, and caterpillars which we found in the garden. We read the story of “the very hungry caterpillar” by Eric Carl and excitedly watched each day as our caterpillars made cocoons and eventually transformed into butterflies. As a class project we read and acted out Jack and the Beanstalk, and did a mural in the foyer. The learners planted bean sprouts in cotton wool and much to our surprise we had bean sprouts almost as tall as the beanstalk! What a fun term it has been.

I would like to thank the Kindy three parents for their support over the last two terms. It has been a privilege to teach such an amazing class and I have treasured every minute of it.

God bless.
