On the 15th of November, our Year 3-6 students travelled to Langford Sports Complex to compete in the WACSSA Interschool Athletics Carnival. This event was for jumps and throws, so we had students competing in long jump, turbo jav and shot put. Students were chosen based on the results from our own Athletics Carnival that was held in Term 3. Our students competed against the best students from 16 other school and represented our College extremely well. We had many students place in the top 3 in multiple events, and a number of 1st places.

During the same week on Thursday the 17th of November we had the Track portion of the Interschool Athletics carnival with another 40 students heading to the WA Athletics Stadium to compete in events such as the 100m, 400m, 800m and relays. The day started in a wonderful fashion with our school winning the first race of the day; in what was a hard fought victory. Our success continued throughout the day with a number of 1st and 2nd place finishes. One of the most wonderful things to witness on the day, was just how supportive our students were of one another, and how much encouragement they gave them, regardless of where they finished. It was a great day all round, and the students did a marvellous job.
