Over the duration of the semester, all students have had a chance to set their academic goals aiming for improvement and success in various areas. During the next two weeks, Year 7 to 12 reports will be sent home for students and parents to review academic progress. As the reports come home, can I encourage you to have a discussion about the results and the goals that were set, so that as we head into a new semester, the students can re-calibrate and set course for the second semester.
2018 Subject Selections Evening for Year 10 students
Determining which post-school pathways the Year 10 students pursue can be very daunting for both students and parents. To assist with the process, we are holding a Subject Selections Information evening at which each student will hear from guest speakers from University and TAFE, and they will receive customised Information folders which will include: recommendations on subject selections, subject booklets and subject selection sheets for each student.
Date: Tuesday, 20 June, 2017.
Time: 6.30 pm to 8:00 pm with half an hour afterwards for refreshments and questions
Location: L Block (Secondary Science/Maths building).
We look forward to seeing all Year 10 students and their parents at this very important event.
