Students that undertake music lessons at the school or outside of the school took part in our annual Musique Festival on Friday, 4 August 2017. Many were nervous playing in front of an audience but they excelled in their performances regardless of butterflies in the stomach. Many students performed on the piano, some even sang along while they were playing. For the first time we had two groups playing ukulele under the careful instruction of Miss Kloe. Three students played guitar and Elouise Watson in Year 6 performed on the violin with her mother as the accompanist. Music is such an enriching experience and participating in our Musique Festival gives our students the opportunity to perform to an audience in a friendly environment.
