INTERMEDIATE BOYS SSWA STATE FINAL

The intermediate boys played Shenton College in the WA School Sports State Final.

In the first half, the SCBC Boys scored some amazing goals to go up 2-0 at the half time break.

Shenton provided some resistance in the first half with some very talented players scattered throughout the pitch and were unlucky not to score early on.

The second half belonged to the SCBC intermediate boys, controlling much of the possession and catching Shenton on the break moving the ball quickly into goal scoring opportunities.

The game finished 5-1.

Big thank you to Miss Phoebe for organising the student cheer squad and Mr. Watts for driving the bus. It was brilliant to see so many staff turn out to the game which kicked off at 6 pm.

Also great to see so many of the students coming out to support the team. Thank you to all the parents for making this possible and to those who were able to come out and watch.

This is the culmination of our SSWA inter school competition. We would like to thank Peter Rickers, president of SSWA and Richard De Fraine from Ballajura Community College for all their efforts so that we had a wonderful pitch to play on this year and for arranging so many things behind the scenes to make tonight’s match possible.

A huge thank you to our Coaches for the effort they put into getting all of our teams ready for the finals

We are blessed and also want to acknowledge our Heavenly Father who has richly blessed each one of us to be able to play the game that we love so dearly. To Him be all praise.
