Mr Des Mitchell, Principal, and Senator Linda Reynolds, Senator for Western Australia

On Thursday, 15th March 2018, Senator Linda Reynolds, Senator for Western Australia, attended a special assembly for the official opening of the STEAM Building. STEAM is an acronym which stands for: Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics.

It was a great opportunity to celebrate the excellent STEAM achievements of staff and students at the College. We showcased four short videos of our student’s achievements. The first highlighted an engineering project completed by Year 11 & 12 students, the latter three highlighted STEAM competitions that the College entered in physics, solar car construction and information technology. We look forward to all of our students taking the opportunities to develop their STEAM skills and grow their mindset in all subject areas.
