CROSS COUNTRY COLOUR RUN

In the second last week of Term 1, secondary students hit the oval to participate in our annual Cross Country carnival.  We had the competitive races first, with Lachlan Collins in Year 8 and Charli Wainwright in Year 9 taking out the prestigious King and Queen of the Track title for 2018.  David House narrowly beat Moses House, much to the delight of their faithful House Co-ordinator, Mr Van der Kwast.

An initiative by Mr Norris’ Year 12 Photography students saw SCBC hold their first ever Colour Run. What a run it was!  With white shirts, 50kg of coloured powder, teachers with buckets of flour around the course and Mr Watts power blowing packets of colour into the air it was a sight to behold!

A huge thank you to all the staff and students that got involved, helped organise and made the day such a success.
