SECONDARY – COMPENDIUM UPDATE

Due to a number of broken compendiums purchased during ‘Back to School 2018’, OfficeMax has raised the issue with their manufacturer, who is working to develop a reinforced version. Once produced, these will be provided to affected students free of charge.

In the meantime, form teachers will be conducting file checks each Friday and will record the names of students with broken files. As soon as we have received the new shipment, we will rearrange replacements for these students. Where the metal filing mechanism has disconnected from the cover, students should still be able to zip up the compendium and continue to use it until the replacement becomes available.

To prolong the life of compendiums, please remind your child of the importance of removing finished work every few weeks and filing it at home to prevent the folders becoming overloaded. The recommended system for filing work is outlined in the student diaries.

Thank you for your patience and support as we work to instill good organisation habits in our students.
