FOOTBALL ACADEMY UPDATE

The Primary School Year 5 6 Football Academy students are looking forward to their first competitive games of the year as they attend the IPSHA sports carnival at John XXIII College on Thursday, 21st June. There will be four South Coast Baptist College teams competing in the seven-a-side carnival playing against other schools from across Perth. The players have been working hard in training from the start of the year and are relishing the opportunity the express what they have learned and put it into practice in a competitive environment.

The Year 6 students will be back on the road again the following week as they compete in the WACSSA Football Carnival. South Coast Baptist College is the reigning champions at the Carnival for the last two years, winning the A division last year. This year’s Year 6 group will be looking to continue the trend and put on top-level football performances in an 11-a-side format.

The SCBC Football Academy Staff would like to wish all the Primary School Football Academy Students competing for carnivals a safe and enjoyable carnival and would to thank the support from all the school staff and parents through the year so far. Good luck everyone.
