PRIMARY SCHOOL HOUSE SWIMMING CARNIVAL

Our Primary House Swimming Carnival was held last Wednesday, 6th of March. It was a fantastic day of swimming, participation and encouragement. The weather was inclement to commence with, but improved as the day progressed.  All of the Year 3 to 6 students and many of their parents enjoyed all that the day offered, whether it be 50m and 100m swimming events, novelty activities or relays where our parents were again narrowly beaten by our staff relay team.

Congratulations to the House of Joshua, our overall Primary School 2019  Swimming Champion House for the third year in a row! All of our individual  year group champions, runners up and third place students received their swimming medals at our Year 4A Assembly, on Friday 15th March. Some of our swimmers achieved maximum points by winning every event that they entered. Final results will appear in our next College Newsletter.

Congratulations also to Macy on breaking the Year 6 Girls 50m Freestyle and 50m Backstroke Division 1 swimming records. Our Interschool Swim Squad classes have been placed up outside the Year 4 to 6 classrooms. We look forward to participating in the WACSSA Interschool Division 1 Swimming Carnival at HBF Stadium outdoor pools in Mount Claremont on Tuesday, 2nd of April. We will be trying to become overall school champions for the third year running at this event.
