PRIMARY SCHOOL PREFECTS & HOUSE CAPTAINS 2019

Annually a group of student leaders are chosen in the Primary School by the student body in Year 5 & 6. Pictured in their Prefect Blazers are our eight Primary School Prefects. These students perform weekly duties including leading and welcoming students to Primary School Assemblies. They also announce monthly birthdays for Year 1 to 6 students at Assembly. The Prefects are also responsible for raising and lowering the flags each day and organizing milk delivery and the College Staffroom dishwasher unstacking and conducting a sausage sizzle fundraiser each term for Year 1 to 6 students. The Primary School Prefects also meet with Head of Primary, Mr Moses, on two to three occasions over a term to discuss relevant topics in the Primary School and to complete a ‘Growing as a Leader’ course. The Primary School Head Boy, Kaveen and Head Girl Natasha also attend monthly Junior Council Meetings at the City of Rockingham Chambers. The Prefects and the House Captains attend and annual Leadership Conference at the Perth Convention Centre each year. This year they attended this event on Thursday the 27th of March.

The six Primary School House Captains pictured in their Sports uniforms, are annually elected to represent the Primary House Groups of David, Joshua and Moses. These students are responsible for Primary House Ticket counts and show bag draws across each Term. They claim the Perpetual House point shield for their House should they accumulate the most points.  The House Captains also lead others on the sporting field, where they claim the annual Primary House Shields for Athletics, Swimming and Cross Country. The House Captains are also responsible for assisting with the House Reward Lunch for the winning House in the Primary School at the end of each term.
