The Year 6 Football Academy Students at South Coast Baptist College attended the annual Western Australian Christian Schools Sports Association Football Carnival along with several other competing schools.

The day brought rain, wind and hail along with some fantastic football played by the SCBC players.

The carnival was a great opportunity for our players to engage in a team setting and put into practice what they have learned across this year. The players thoroughly enjoyed the experience of playing together and competing with and amongst the other schools. The football on display at times form the SCBC players were of high quality, though the event also gave us the opportunity to realise and work on some of our shortfalls. We would really like to thank Mrs Karen Klopp from WACSSA for arranging and organising the carnival. Ben Otto our resident 6A prac. teacher for refereeing our games. Thanks, are also extended to all the other schools’ staff, players and officials and all of the parents that braved the cold and wet weather to support their team and this event.
