IN THE CLASSROOM – YEAR 5A WITH MRS BALL

We have had an extremely exciting start to term 3! Our first week back held our highly anticipated Year 5 Camp! This year was the first time that our Year 5’s got to stay at a campsite and have a couple of days away from school. We had an awesome time joining in on activities such as an adventure course, archery, flying fox, team games and bridge-building.

In the evening we were treated to a delicious dinner followed by a bushwalk and bonfire. The next day we completed some more exciting activities and had great fun on the bouncy pillow at Camp Cooloongup.

We have also had a wonderful time in class, learning about all sorts of things! This term we are focussing on how businesses run and answering some great insightful questions that the students have wondered about economics. We are reading the novel Paper Planes, where we are learning the value of friendship and persistence. Our flexible seating arrangement in class has brought in wonderful focus and collaborative work in our classroom.

We look forward to the final term of 2019!
