NUMERO WORKSHOP

On Friday, 30th April, a group of Year 5 and 6 students and Mrs Laura Cooper and Miss Cherie Cook took part in a Numero Workshop with Mrs Julie Richards.

Numero is a Mathematical Card Game that can be used in classrooms to teach and practice Numeracy skills. It is used all over Western Australia from years 2 – 10. It was invented by the late Reverend Frank Drysdale and is now promoted by his daughter Julie who we were privileged to spend time with as she shared all her tips and tricks.

South Coast Baptist College is due to compete in the State Tournament later this year and will be practicing regularly at ‘Numero Club’ each week to prepare! Wish us luck!
