On Friday Week 8, the Year 11 Vocal Academy students performed the second show of our Foreshore Concert Series, this time at the Gary Holland Centre. Featuring Madelyn Baker, Felicity Hughes, Lachlan Goffage & Chante Botha as well some of the Year 11 Cert students, tunes from the likes of Olivia Rodrigo, Elton John, Benee, Surfaces Dulcie and more had the crowd going wild. Although the weather did not permit the beachfront vibe we were going for, the students adapted to the new venue and packed it to capacity.
There was also a special guest performance by Kian Meyerink with a huge Pearl Jam tune.
If you didn’t make it to this epic event, you have one more chance to see the Vocal Academy in action for 2021. The Year 10 Foreshore Concert will be held at the Rockingham Foreshore Lookout on Friday, 26th November. Time to be 5.30pm. Bring your family, a picnic and come support our Year 10 Vocal Academy students.
