In May our Year 11 and 12 Marine and Maritime Studies students completed their SCUBA Diving Course through Scubanautics Rockingham.

SCBC students had an incredible time learning new skills and discovering the underwater world. Despite the very cold temperatures, and poor visibility at some sites, the students worked very well to demonstrate the required skills to achieve their Open Water Diver Qualification. The students are now qualified to SCUBA dive to a depth of 18 metres. Along the way, students were very excited to see marine life such as lionfish, seahorses, an octopus, starfish and so much more.
