A group of eight Year 5 students represented the College at the Da Vinci Decathlon held at UWA on Wednesday, 3rd August 2022. The event involved 23 schools, with a total of 40 teams fielded from Years 5 and 6. Students competed across 10 disciplines: Engineering, Mathematics, Code Breaking, Art and Poetry, Science, English, Ideation, Creative Producers, Cartography and Legacy. Our team placed second in the ‘Creative Producers’ category. Well done to Abhinaya, Natalie, Jesslyn, Tiffany, Harrison, Israel and Finn on their effort and collaboration throughout the decathlon today. Leo should also be acknowledged for his preparation for the event, although he was unable to attend.
