On Friday, 16th September, the Year 1 classes experienced Koora Koora Kaarta Koomba, the traditional Noongar life in Kings Park. We discovered how Perth (Boorloo) has changed over time and learnt about the local custodians, the Whadjuk Noongar people. The students learnt that the Noongar people would only take what they needed from the land and left what was necessary for the following season. We explored Naturescape and had a great time playing in the waterhole.
