I am pleased to share the highlights from our recent Year 10 events! On the 24th of August, we held an unforgettable Year 10 River Cruise. The night was a resounding success as our students gathered at Elizabeth Quay to enjoy the sights of the beautiful Swan River and the company of their classmates. The parents inspired a candid ‘paparazzi moment’ on the dock before we left then it was “all aboard” the James Sterling! We cruised down river, dancing, singing, indulging in delicious food, and making lasting memories. The photobooth captured delightful moments of the Year 10s dressed-up to the nines and the dance floor heaved with the jumping and jiving of 100+ revellers! It was heart-warming to witness our students let loose and celebrate the progress we’ve made this year. Take a look at some of the unforgettable moments captured below.
In addition to the River Cruise, a group of Year 10 students participated in an exhilarating Outdoor Ed Camp. Venturing down south, they engaged in activities like caving, abseiling, and hiking. It was inspiring to see our students embrace the opportunities provided by our school and immerse themselves in these adventures.
As we approach the end of Term 3, it’s astonishing how quickly time has flown. With the holidays on the horizon, we wish everyone a safe and rejuvenating break, allowing our students to return refreshed and ready for an exciting final term!
In closing, let us remember the words from 2 Thessalonians 3:16, “Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with you all.” May we find solace and tranquillity in His presence.
Warm regards,
Simon Bint
