Please consider the safety of yourself, your child, and the community; remember essential bicycle and scooter safety measures that must be adhered to by all students.
Helmets
Legal Requirement: Western Australian law mandates that all Cyclists and eRiders wear an approved helmet while on public roads, including when travelling to and from school.
eRideable Regulations
In accordance with Western Australian law, only individuals aged sixteen and over are permitted to use eRideables. This means that electric scooters with motors exceeding 200 watts cannot be ridden by students under the age of 16, including when travelling to and from the College. www.wa.gov.au/organisation/road-safety-commission/erideables
School Grounds
For the safety of our entire community, bicycles and scooters must be walked on school property. Riding is strictly prohibited on College grounds.
Storage
Students are encouraged to use the bike and scooter storage area at the front of the College. However, it is mandatory to secure your bike or scooter with a lock. The College cannot be held responsible for stolen or missing transportation devices.
