As we journey through the school year, our Year 11 students at SCBC have been engaged in a variety of enriching activities that have fostered community, competition, and personal growth.
One of the highlights has been our ‘termly’ Pancake Breakfasts. These mornings have become a cherished tradition, where students and staff come together to share a meal, build connections, and start the day with positivity and fellowship. It’s more than just pancakes; it’s an opportunity to strengthen our sense of community and support one another on our individual journeys.
The house competitions have also brought a buzz of excitement to the school, with students showing immense enthusiasm and team spirit. Whether it’s on the sports field, in academic challenges, or in creative contests, our Year 11s have displayed outstanding participation and a healthy competitive spirit. These events not only build camaraderie but also encourage students to push their limits and strive for excellence.
Looking ahead, we are eagerly anticipating the Year 11 camp to Rottnest Island in Term 4. This camp promises to be an unforgettable experience, offering students a chance to explore the natural beauty of Rottnest, bond with their peers, and reflect on their personal and spiritual journeys. The camp will be a time for relaxation, adventure, and personal growth as we approach the end of the school year.
In everything we do, we are reminded of the words of Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” This verse serves as a source of inspiration and a reminder that with faith, dedication, and a supportive community, our students can overcome challenges and achieve great things.
We are incredibly proud of the Year 11 cohort and all they have accomplished so far this year. We look forward to the exciting opportunities and experiences that lie ahead as they continue to grow and thrive.
