Dear College Families
What an incredible year 2024 has been on many levels. I have updated you on several outcomes and projects through messages to the community during the year. There has been so much happening, and I thank you for your support.
I wish to acknowledge and thank the incredible staff of South Coast Baptist College for their steadfast support and hard work throughout the year. I congratulate our students. It has been wonderful seeing so many of our students showcase their many talents throughout the year during many events and highlights and putting in their best efforts. The charity fundraisers and community programs have also come about through the kind hearts of our people who have shown their care for those less fortunate. Our community’s compassion is inspiring. Our sporting prowess in our students in so many sporting fields continues to shine. The opportunities to expand offerings for all students in all areas of interest is a focus going forward for academics, sport, vocational interests, community service, the Arts and speciality programs just to name a few. We want to be a school that provides variety for all students to enjoy meaningful learning experiences in our Christian school for quality. Many plans and processes are being developed for several positive outcomes by our teams across the College as we work with a mindset of continuous improvement.
As the year closes and we prepare for time with family and friends over Christmas, may I wish you a blessed, safe and happy holiday period. We move to the 40th Anniversary for the College in 2025 and we look forward to welcoming all that is good into the New Year.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,
“Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.”
So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger.
