YEAR 11 CAMP

The Year 11 Rottnest Camp was filled with memorable activities, with some of the most talked-about experiences being snorkelling, beach hangs, and lively games of minigolf.

Snorkelling in Rottnest’s crystal-clear waters was a highlight for many. Students explored vibrant coral reefs and encountered colourful fish, and even spotted a few friendly stingrays. For some, it was their first snorkelling experience, making it an exhilarating opportunity to see marine life up close. The beauty of the underwater landscape left everyone with a sense of wonder and a deeper appreciation for the island’s ecosystems.

Relaxing beach hangs were another favourite. After busy days, students enjoyed time on the sandy shores, playing beach volleyball, or simply relaxing and chatting with friends by the water. These moments of laughter and connection became some of the most cherished parts of camp, allowing everyone to unwind and enjoy the sun and each other’s company.

For a bit of friendly competition, the students also hit the mini golf course. Groups teamed up and tried their best to conquer tricky holes and winding paths, with plenty of laughs and surprises along the way. Minigolf was the perfect mix of fun and challenge, giving students a chance to show off their skills—or just enjoy the game’s unexpected twists and turns.

Snorkelling, beach time, and minigolf gave our Year 11s the chance to bond and make lasting memories, creating an unforgettable Rottnest Camp experience.
