This term, Year Six students designed and made a prayer blanket for someone in need within our community. They explored the properties of cotton in their Technology lessons, using the material to create a soft and comfortable blanket.
The students had the opportunity to use the secondary sewing room, where they collaborated with their group to sew the blankets together. Working as a team, they successfully crafted a thoughtful and meaningful gift that will offer comfort and prayer to someone in need. This project highlighted teamwork, skill-building, and the importance of giving back to the community.
