This term in Bambini, we have had a few new friends join us. The children have settled into care and have formed friendships and bonds with the educators and each other.
We have loved dedicating a part of our program to doing Devotion – where the children sing Christian songs and play musical instruments with the educators and each other. We then read a Christian book or bible together.
We have also embraced more messy play, exploring the Wild Space and painting. For Cultural Diversity Week, the children learned about Identity and Community as a basis for learning and understanding this topic. We celebrated Easton’s Aboriginal culture by painting wood bark with Aboriginal colours and creating a mobile in the room. The children also painted pictures of themselves for Identity, which will go up in the room.
Earlier this month, Bambini hosted an afternoon tea meet and greet. Seeing so many families joining us was lovely, meeting each other and learning more about the Bambini room.
