PIKANINI 2

To celebrate our unique cultural backgrounds, educators and children in the Pikanini 2 room dressed in national attire, while others wore orange t-shirts that symbolised social communication and meaningful conversations. The children showed great interest in Indigenous symbols and eagerly matched the pairs. Everyone participated in dancing to cultural music from various traditions.

A welcome afternoon tea was hosted by the Pikanini 2 educators to forge collaboration and open communication with families. Educators and parents exchanged valuable information and insights about children’s overall development and well-being.

The children were offered a wide range of sensory activities and creative and active play to promote cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development. Each activity is aligned with the EYLF outcomes to support children in their development.

For Crazy Hair Day, we participated in butterfly-themed hairstyles, grassy hair activity, and paper plate hair activity. These activities enable children to experiment, explore, and enrich their creativity and imagination. Thank you for participating in supporting Cystic Fibrosis.
