On Friday, 16th May, our Primary Girls’ Football Academy Team showcased their talent and determination at the School Sport WA Sam Kerr Primary Football State Championships, held at Aubin Grove Community Oval. 

In a thrilling knockout competition, the team triumphed over Oberthur Primary in the quarter-final, overcame Aubin Grove Primary in the Semi-Final, and faced a formidable Caralee Primary side in the Grand Final. With grit and teamwork, they secured a remarkable 3–1 victory, claiming the W.A. State Championship title for the fifth time in seven years! 

Their achievement was made even more impressive by the resilience of our Year 6 players, who competed with heart and energy straight after returning from camp. A special mention also to the Year 5 girls who stepped up with confidence and composure, adding value to the team. 

The girls played with passion, unity, and an unbreakable spirit. We are incredibly proud of their sportsmanship and success.
