On Wednesday, 12 November 2025, select students from our Science Enrichment group participated in the Subs in Schools Mini ROV Competition held at the HMAS Stirling Navy Base. This event involved three judging components:

Trade Display – showcasing and promoting their business concept.

Formal Verbal Presentation – presenting their business idea to judges.

Practical Assessment – completing seven underwater challenges using their Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs).

In preparation for this competition, students assembled their ROVs, learned and applied soldering skills to build control panels, developed a business concept, and created a trade display to market their idea.

We are proud to announce that Pollution Puncher, a team comprising Annie D, Heidi M, and Anaya M, won first place in the competition. Additionally, Wreck Raiders, made up of Jessica C and Mya T, achieved an impressive third place.
