Students exhibit Artwork at the KIC Art Awards

In March, work by our Art and Technologies students was showcased at the Kwinana Industries Council Art Awards alongside entries from other local schools. We exhibited 2D and 3D art, digital photography, and video, as well as manual arts projects in wood and metal. We are incredibly proud of our students, who demonstrated exceptional artistry and skill.

Ivan Firsov won the Wood category for his resin river table, which was commissioned for our Secondary Principals’ meeting desk. Izabelle Lindsell also achieved success, placing runner-up and receiving a “Highly Commended” entry for her tensegrity (tensional integrity) planter box.

Special mentions go to Jackson Le Scelle, who also had photography exhibited in the 2025 National Photography Exhibition, Josie Rush for her creative animation about fitting in, Charlie Rodwell for her “Nuts and Bolts” 3D art, and Hayley Belia and Phoebe Martin for their 2D artworks.

Additionally, students from our Vocal Academy, led by coordinator Xyanthe Lee, performed during the awards ceremony, showcasing beautiful harmonies.
