Bambini Room Term 2

We have once again welcomed some new families, as well as a few existing families, this term and have had the privilege of getting to know some new, sweet little friends. Every day is busy, full of fun and discovery as our little friends explore and learn. This term has brought some cooler and wetter days as winter approaches. We have had a few opportunities to spend time outdoors when the sun shines and the days are warmer, and our Bambini friends are very keen explorers of the outdoors. The sandpit, bikes, trampoline, grass, and more are just a few of the attractions when we venture outside.

We have also had some exciting new resources added to our room this term. The babies have enjoyed climbing and sliding on our climbing castle, as well as practising their balancing and walking skills on our balance bar. We have also introduced one or two activity tables, which have engaged many curious minds and encouraged more adventurous children to pull themselves up and strengthen their large muscles over the past few months.

Sensory activities are always a favourite and are incorporated into our daily experiences. Our friends use their senses in creative ways as they explore drawing, painting, and different textures such as macaroni, etc. Other fun activities include books and instruments, all of which have been part of the fun and learning that took place in the babies’ room this term. We also celebrated our wonderful mums on Mother’s Day, as well as World Bee Day by painting bee pictures.

Thank you Lord, for another wonderful term and for all the special friends and families we get to engage with each day.
