BAMBINI ROOM

For Children’s Week we wanted to do exciting activities that are based off the children’s interests and bring the children together to learn and play.

We did some handprint painting, which was later used to hang up in the room. The children took turns having their hands painted and then pressing their hand onto the paper. They enjoyed this experience and have gotten more confident with using paint as opposed to earlier in the year.

On another day, we got to play with some wibbly wobbly jelly. This experience was great fun. They got to squish it, pull it apart, throw it and even taste it. The best part was eating it, everyone tried it and some even finished everything on their tray. We put them in a highchair circle to keep them all interacting throughout the activity, and we also danced to ‘Jelly on a plate.’
