This Term, the Pre-Primary and Kindergarten students participated in a beekeeper incursion that offered a unique, hands-on opportunity to explore the captivating world of bees and understand their vital role in our ecosystem. During the interactive session, a professional beekeeper introduced the students to the intricacies of bee life, including their lifecycle, hive dynamics, and the process of honey production.

Students observed a live queen bee and her attendants, tried on a beekeeping suit, and tasted fresh honey, making the experience both educational and engaging. This incursion not only enhanced the students’ knowledge of environmental sustainability but also assisted in fostering a deeper appreciation for these essential pollinators.
