Our Primary School campus was filled with excitement today as our students joined thousands of children all across Australia to celebrate National Simultaneous Storytime 2026!

This year’s featured book, Luna Roo: The Kangaroo Ballerina by Adam Wallace and Adrian Beck (illustrated by Jake A. Minton), was an absolute hit, bringing plenty of fun, laughter, and creativity into our classrooms.

Our youngest learners in Kindergarten and Pre-Primary thoroughly enjoyed taking part in special read-aloud sessions. We were also incredibly honored to have our Principal, Mrs. Dawn Clements, and our Head of Primary, Mr. Keagan Holmes, drop by to read to some of our student groups throughout the day, making the event feel extra special.

Beyond the reading sessions, our students dived into a variety of creative activities inspired by Luna Roo’s adventures. Meanwhile, older students across the Primary School showcased their fantastic imagination and writing skills by participating in a special book-themed writing competition.

It was a wonderful day celebrating the joy of shared reading and community spirit!
