Crystal John, Shaylah Ryan-Sherriff and Maria Sulliva ventured to Curtin University to compete in a Chemistry competition that depends on team work and precision at the end of Term Two. We have competed in the past four competitions with twice getting to the finals (top 15 from 80-90 teams).
With a new strategy designed to get us back into finals contention, our team performed very well to get consistently accurate results. The girls did a great job beating 21 teams, however, this wasn’t good enough to get us to the finals.
The feedback post competition was important as we realised a refinement to our strategy which will lead to greater success next year. New buildings, new equipment and more success, I can’t wait.
