Arts has the capacity to engage, inspire and enrich students to reach their creative and expressive potential.

The Arts program at SCBC is in line with the Australian curriculum, it is informative, modern and industry relevant.

Our programs feature exciting and informative practices that inspire and equip students for a future that they aspire to.

Drama Studies – Years 7 – 10

In Drama, students enjoy a variety of activities that include improvisation, Drama games, interpreting scripts and studying aspects of theatre production, such as costuming, stage managing, sound and lighting.

Visual Art – Years 7 – 12

In Visual Art, students enjoy a variety of activities that include Ceramics, Painting and Print making.

Music – Years 7 – 12 

In Music, students enjoy a variety of activities that include an Instrumental program, offering tuition on a wide range of instruments that are taught at school by professional teachers.

Class subject areas: Aural, Theory, Composition, Performance, VET music, Electronic and digital music. Extracurricular activities include Jazz ensemble.
