On Friday the 22^nd of July our Year 6 Football Academy students played in the Bobby Despotovski SSWA 13^th Pro Football Training Cup at the Lark Hill Sporting Complex. This competition involves playing interschool teams from schools in the Peel Region. The quality of football from our Year 6 Academy students under the guidance of coach Chris Thackray was extremely high. The boys played their roles and positions well across the day and convincingly won every game that they played. The team each received championship medallions and the Pro Football Cup trophy for 2016. As winners of their division the Year 6 Football Academy students will play in the West Australian State finals against other division champions from Perth and regional areas. The state finals are elimination matches that commences at 4.30pm and will be played at Beale Park in Spearwood.
