YEAR 8 BEACH DAY 2017

On Monday the 13th of March, the Year 8’s went with a couple of teachers to Palm Beach. The Year Eights were split up into their house groups (Moses, David and Joshua) so we could do rotational activities. There was Jetty Jumping, Kayaking, and free time. By the time lunch came we all has so much fun that we were all so hungry. We had sausage sizzles and soda! Yum!!  At the end of it all we were super tired! We had a jam packed full of fun Year eight Beach Day!

Beach Day was a really fun day that involved lots of team building activities. I found kayaking a especially challenging activity as you and your partner really had to work to fight against the strong current we had because of the weather. Jetty Jumping was the best activity. Beach Day will be my favourite part of Year 8!

On Monday 13th of March, the Year 8 students got to leave school and spend a day on the beach. We all had a fantastic time jetty jumping, kayaking, swimming at the beach, eating a delicious barbecue lunch and getting to know one another better. Thanks to all the teachers and students who came together to pull off a great day, we all had a wonderful time!
