Upon the invitation of a couple of students, we organised a game of cricket for interested staff and students at Shoalwater Oval after school on Monday 27th March. We received a huge amount of support from the Hillman Hornets Cricket Club who opened their clubrooms and made available their equipment as well. We formed two teams of seven players and had a great time honing our skills.

Team A – Teachers: Matt Brooks, Luke Wilson, Kyle Hunt, plus Brodee and Hans from HHCC

Students: Graham Duxbury, Calvin van Niekerk, Team B – Teachers: Ryan Galambosi, Emile Peterson, Peter van der Kwast, plus Liam from HHCC

Students: Luke Richards, Ralph Desmond and Zachary Jackson.

Just for the record, everyone had a great time and cricket was the real winner.
