We had such a fantastic day at the ACC interschool Athletics Carnival on Monday 4th September.
The teachers were really proud of all the student competitors- their athleticism but mostly their attitude which was of such a high standard.
We had some excellent results:
1st place in the Junior Boys aggregate
1st place in over all boys aggregate
Some individual outstanding results:
Jonah Madeira OPEN champion boy
Maria Sullivan OPEN champion girl
Hannah Taylor U14 champion girl
Jason White U13 runner up boy
Hannah Taylor (year 8) broke the U14 girls shot put record that has been standing for 35 years. This is a huge achievement and we are so excited for her.
We finished the day with SCBC coming 3rd over all for our division. Last year we came 5th so this is an improvement.
All the glory to God who provided us with beautiful weather and the abilities to be involved in this event.
