IN THE CLASSROOM – YEAR 2B WITH MRS JACOBSZ

The Year 2 students are currently exploring the importance of oceans as part of our Project Based Learning. On Wednesday the 16th May 2018, all three Year 2 classes attended the Cicerello’s excursion.  We got to touch some aquatic animals and explored different materials that wash up onshore. We learnt about the impact that pollution has on sea life and what we can do to reduce this. The students had a wonderful time, and they loved reflecting on their favourite part of the day. A highlight of our excursion was touching a Port Jackson Shark.

We are excited to see where our project takes us, and are excited to share our work at the end of the Semester.
