YEAR 3 ROCKINGHAM MUSIC FESTIVAL

On Thursday, 30 August 2018 all our Year 3 students and our Treble Maker Percussion Ensemble participated in the local Rockingham Music Festival.  Over 350 students came together to sing and make music together.  Each school had the opportunity to perform a song of their choice and our Year 3 students performed a song called: “Seuss Medley”.  Most students sang, and a few performed some stunning dance moves choreographed by Mrs. Van Oudtshoorn.  All the schools then combined to form a mass choir and performed 4 songs to the audience.  We are so incredibly proud of our student’s achievement in the field of music.

The Treble Maker Percussion Ensemble performed a percussion version of “Clocks” by Coldplay and a drumming routine to the song “Pompeii” by Bastille.  They ended the event with a big BANG!
