On Monday 22nd October,we held our annual Primary School House Athletics Carnival. This year the Carnival involved our Year 3 to 6 students at the Junior Primary classes had their carnival at the end of Term 3. The Year 3 to 6 House Athletics Carnival is a showcase of a range of individual and team events, that all Year 3 to 6 students participate in and trial for across Term 3.
One hundred and thirteen events for Year 3 to 6 students were run across the entire day, with a focus on maximum student participation and enjoyment. Nearly every student from Year 3 to 6 was in attendance on the day and found themselves actively involved in the tabloid events and supporting their peers across the day. The House of David won the Primary School Athletics Carnival for the second year in a row.
Our secondary students were excellent assistants on the day and the Primary Teaching Staff involved on the day are to be commended on their wonderful work.
Many staff dressed in House Colours in support of the competitive spirit across the day. It was a fantastic day and great result for the Primary School students, staff, parents and community.
