At South Coast Baptist College as well as providing a Year 11 and 12 Design Photography course, we also have a student photography team.  Our team is comprised of three year 7 and three year 9 students.  You will have seen their photos in this newsletter, Facebook, yearbook and presentation nights.  Our team covers school events our resident College photographer is unable to attend.

Each year some of our team enters competitions such as Rockingham PhotoVoice.  This year two students entered St George’s College annual Photography Competition, which is open to all secondary students in WA.  It is one of the biggest photography competitions in WA.  This year’s theme was shadows.

Leah Jones shadow and shoes composition placed third, while Russ Zapanta’s violin player received a highly commended.
