In December 2018, three SCBC students are representing our school in the Australian Young Physicists Tournament. Daniel Rutherford, Justyn Hall and Anna Watts will be coming up against school teams from Brisbane, Tasmania and Melbourne. It will be a thrilling time of debate and thinking on their feet as they present their solutions to open-ended Physics investigations. Here, we see Anna Watts working on her problem which looked at the sound spectrum produced from a vertical jet of water as it fills up bottles of different dimensions. We wish them all the best!
