South Coast Year 12 students forge great career pathways for themselves

Former Year 12 student Peter Mason has achieved his first milestone in the Navy by graduating from Recruit School at HMAS Cerberus in Victoria.   Peter is forging a great pathway for himself by pursuing a career in the Navy as a Marine Technician.

Another Year 12 student who left us recently to join the Australian Defence Force was Benjamin Scarborough.   Ben is now at the 1 Recruit Training Unit in Wagga Wagga and upon graduation will undergo further training to become an Aircraft Maintenance Technician in the RAAF.

Another two students – Marko Bulatovic and Noah Wittstrom Lea – have received conditional offers to go to the University of Western Australia (UWA) next year.   Both students have followed a non-ATAR pathway to UWA, having completed a Certificate IV in Business.   They are now progressing their Diploma of Business qualification which will give them direct entry to UWA.

Daniel McMullan and Reilly Simmons have also received offers to study at UWA.   Reilly is set to study Business/Law; and Daniel is set to study Law, however, he is now eyeing off universities in the United States to give himself an international perspective early in his pathway.

Anaelle Goorayah has her sites set on studying Medicine; Jade Clayson will complete a Certificate IV in Education Support and pursue a pathway into Teaching, and Vimbikai Chikava will complete a Certificate IV in Preparation for Health and Nursing Studies and pursue a pathway into Registered Nursing.

There are no limits in this College – just opportunities.
