Our Secondary Cross Country Carnival took off with a blast on Monday of Week 9 this term. Despite the heat, we had the largest number of competitive runners ever – including 15 teaching staff! It was a great morning, with the vibe and tunes brought by DJ Cottrell and the spectacle of seeing our runners give their all on the track. A huge congratulations to Anna Watts and Celeston Fuller of Year 12, who took out this year’s prestigious ‘King and Queen of the Track’ Award. David was crowned the winning house overall, winning both the Fun Run and Competitive Run categories.
Well done to everyone involved; the runners, the spectators, and all staff for setting a wonderful tone on the day. A special thank you to the House Captains for getting there early to set up and helping coordinate the giant whole school paper, scissors, rock game ❤
