COMMUNITY FOOTBALL

The Community Football Program (CFP) has returned with a bang in 2022 and is more popular than ever with nearly 100 young enthusiastic footballers taking part in engaging fun football activities each week.

Participants in the Year 2 to 6 program get the opportunity to showcase their playing talents in fun and challenging games for individuals, groups, and teams, exploring a wide variety of skills used in football. Whilst in the Kindy to Year 1 program the participants get to explore the foundations of the sport through using imagination and storytelling in exciting adventure games.

Charlie Wainwright (Football Academy Coach and Community Football Program Coach) has thoroughly enjoyed the start of CFP this year and has already started to see those individual skills and collective qualities from the participants:

“The most enjoyable thing I have noticed about CFP so far has got to be how each individual player has their own unique quality about them. Yet together, they all share the same passion for kicking a ball.”

The Community Football Program runs throughout each term of the school year for 8 weeks in each term. Look out for notifications and reminders for term 2 registrations on the school’s website and social media platforms.
