In Civics and Citizenship we ended Term 1 with a Community Project. Students worked alone, to create a pamphlet to promote a community project. On the pamphlet they included, the purpose of the project, participants of the project, activities involved to complete the project, benefits, etc etc. Some students chose cleaning up the school as theirs.

These boys (pictured below) decided to do a clean-up of one of the local beaches.

No instructions by the teacher. Simply because the project obviously had an impact on them and they wanted to do something for the community.
