On 14th November 2022, the Hospitality Team had the privilege of attending the Hospitality Group Training Awards. Despite being up against some of the largest schools in the State, our Hospitality Team took out the top prize due to the outstanding skills development opportunities they offer our students. The College currently has three School-Based-Apprentices, providing these students with a trade and qualification shortly after finishing school.

Congratulations to Charlotte Harkness, one of four apprentices nominated in the State for the School Apprentice of the Year Award.

The Hospitality Program is a thriving pathway for our Secondary students, preparing them well for the future. Upon completion, students graduate with a Certificate II in Hospitality which enables them to take up employment within the hospitality industry as wait staff, kitchen staff and management. For other students, this is a steppingstone to pursuing further studies in the hospitality industry upon graduation.
