At the inaugural RHB ‘Rock the Boat’ Film Festival Awards, our Year 10 Screen and Media entry ‘The Lift’ won first prize in the schools category. The film went on to also win overall Best Story Category Award.
The Year 10’s were represented by Lucy Power, one of the cast of ‘The Lift’. Two of our Year 9 film entries also placed – Sienna De Kock ‘Shadow Dancer’ and Phoebe Martin ‘Dancing Symphony’ were there to collect their awards. With our dedicated Film Production and Design Photography classes in Years 7-10, we look forward to telling more stories next year.
Thanks to Program Director, past college student and Media PhD student Andy Newcombe and Producer Mr Norris for working with the students to achieve this success.
